Sermon Text: Psalm 130-131
Sermon Outline:
In Psalm 130, we see the right prescription for God’s children in their distress.
“A Song of Ascents.”
1. Cry out to the Lord in your distress (Psalm 130:1-2)
2. Humble yourself before the Lord in His holiness (Psalm 130:3)
3. Be Forgiven by the Lord in your sin (Psalm 130:4)
4. Wait on the Lord in your wrestling (Psalm 130:5-6)
5. Hope in the Lord for your redemption (Psalm 130:7-8)
In Psalm 131, we see the right posture of God’s children before the Lord:
“A Song of Ascents. Of David.”
1. A Humble Heart (Psalm 131:1)
2. A Peaceful Soul (Psalm 131:2)
3. A Lasting Hope (Psalm 131:3)
